I’ve finally found her. Utterly Crap. It’s so good.

Not a recent discovery really, but Sophie Ellis Bextor is exactly the kind of utterly crappy music that I love. She has the voice similar to Sheryl Crow, and mix with a little bit of Deborah Harry, and the look of Kylie Minogue… and her style of music is clearly influenced by Pet Shop Boys, Saint Etienne, 80s Pop, Disco, Euro Dance… What can you ask for more?!!

Check it out. She rules.

  1. Yeah, I think I stood at Tower Records and sampled it…she’s going for the street-credit now…no more bubblegum or PSB-engineered gay disco pop. Oh well. She’s still nice to look at.

Oh, oh, oh…also check out http://www.goldfrapp.co.uk/. I love the songs Strict Machine and Twist. Trust me, you’ll like ’em!

  2. I think The Other George was talking about Kylie Minogue…

  3. I’m not the “Other George,” I’m “George Also.” I was actually talking about Whitney Houston.
