AAPL@61.35

Yes my dear, AAPL set a new 52 weeks high on the stock market today. Close at. It went up 11.2% percent today alone. Should I stay or should I go? Buy low and sell high is the way to go, and the new price target is @100. Makes you wonder.

DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material)

Enough on politics… let’s talk about something fun. Camouflage. A new book just came out in the UK (Yes… associate with Maharishi) with a pretty comprehensive look into the history and applications of camouflage. A must buy for military nuts, designers, or fashion gurus. Find out more here.

What’s next (at least for me).

What I can’t stand is the fact many liberals are still lamenting why they lost. Time to move on buddy. I admit, I don’t have the time and energy to do much, but at least financially I can still do my part with organization like Democracy for America/Blog for America (a PAC group under Howard Dean). I am sure you will find your ways to do you part. Money talk, bullshit walks. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and do something about it.

Let’s look back

– A few weeks back, I had a feeling that Bush’s going to win. He did.

– When Bush took Florida last night, I knew Kerry was going to loose. For sure.

– All the pre-elections talks (from my liberal friends anyways) on how “we will turn back the tide” were sooooo naive to a point that’s almost arrogant. Look who’s face down and tasting the ground right now.

– Most Americans are afraid to change, stubborn, like their false sense of security, and hypocritical:

Case in point: Iraq 2.0 > look for WMD > No WMD. With that reason alone it’s good enough for anyone to resign or be fired. Yet most Americans are willing to keep the same guy in offiice.

Please vote tomorrow

I really don’t care if you are going to write in ZZ Top tomorrow (which some senior citizen actually claimed on an NPR radio program), please vote tomorrow. Thank you.

Jetrosexual / Tablet Hotels

Are you Jetrosexual kinda poseur? Do you always know the right people, eat at the best resturants, listen to music from bands that more earth-bound people haven’t yet discovered? Do you read books that aren’t on airport best-seller rack? And do watch movies, shall we say, do not suck?

If you answer to any of those questions “Yes” then I’ve got a perfect hotel booking site for you.

Fall TGS Video – Sony PSP

I am really impressed by this Sony PSP propaganda video. The techo background music is cheerful… And without the use of annoying voice-over (I don’t care if it is Japanese or English they both can be annoying), pretty much every feature of the PSP was explained:

mobile
anywhere
widescreen
3D graphics
fun / enjoyment
stereo sound
wireless network gameplay
UMD optical media
easy access to UMD media (just like MiniDisc)
sexy hardware
slick software UI
wide selection of game titles
etc…

I can watch this crap over and over again and not getting bored….

Good product aside, that is what good marketing effort should be like… I WANT IT NOW! The other Sony PSP Propaganda can be found here. Oh… and this is funny too….

Some of my own observations:

– Sony is putting the 3D graphic computing power of PS2 (or close to) into consumer’s palm
– Their knowledge of MiniDisc technology is being applied fully into UMD/PSP so there shouldn’t be worry on battery life
– Widescreen 16:9 will give game designers new freedom to create new kinds of games.

All in all, I am VERY excited about the PSP.

Is this for real?

So today I received this e-mail newsletter (aka spam) in my Inbox. I was socked. I couldn’t figure out if the person in the picture is a woman or a man. What’s wrong with the hair? What’s up with the scruffy face but with the makeup? em… I am confused.

I think this is a legit Microsoft newsletter as I examing the e-mail header and the links.
