I was driving home Monday night and was listening to Market Place on NPR. They covered the story about two people at UCLA were arrested in connection with the theft of body parts…. don’t know why, I got really grossed out and almost sicken by the story… to a point that I have to turn off the radio… Listen to it yourself…

My Best Friend’s new Portfolio is up…
Trace is a good designer/AD, and I’ve always like his style and sensibility. His new portfolio is now up at:
http://www.igeorge.com/portfolio/. Don’t hesitate to give him a call or e-mail him if you need print stuff and identity stuff done…
iPod Mini
Alison’s older sister’s birthday present is the green Mini iPod… since I get a 10% discount from the Apple Online Store so I ordered that for them. I’ll probably show Alison’s sis on how to use it on her PC… and I will give a give some thoughts on the device as I see it… I still haven’t been to the San Francisco Apple Store yet.
Why bats hang upside down?
According to my doctor’s nature tour guide, the bats hang upside down because they develop their wings so well as mammal, and their feet became so weak that… hanging upside down is the only way they can support their weight…
The Doctor knows its…
My Doc. is a pretty cool guy, today’s visit he told me about his trip to Australia… Interesting tidbits like, the crock’s brain is only about the size of a walnut – that’s why you get to see the TV nature shows people get so up close to them… haha. Also, he explained to me why bats hang upside down (as he was told by his Nature Guide).
I’ll post the answer in the next post. Comment if you know the answer already.

Snappleton
Great stuff at Snappleton. The e-Boy 3 quarter view pixel style design… It’s interesting to see a Corporation that has a pretty strong Brand Identity to take on a style that is so strong and unique… Well, I guess because it is Snapple, doubt Charles Schwab or United Airline can pull something like this though.
Online Gaming Sociology
I am currently doing some research on Online Games and how people are social or not online….
I’ll probably post some interesting URL later on that… …as some of you know, I am pretty addicted to Final Fantasy Online since the “design” of the game is so great. Recently, they have added the “marriage” options for the JP players. The practical part, is that, it allows you to share the limited storage space online… The whole process goes like this:
You have to buy expensive rings (like 50,000 Gil – which is the game currency) online from the Game Master, and your potential partner has to accept the “proposal”. If he/she rejects, you *cannot* return the ring to the GM… DOH!
Wonder if Square/Enix (the game developer) allows same sex marriage… haha…
Things I am lusting after right now….
Is this:

JBL Creature II speaker. Worth it? My Yamaha speakers is fading in and out these days… very annoying when I play Final Fantasy Online.
